    The purpose of the inspection is to identify significant structural or timber pest problems on the property you are about to commit to, and expose any hidden dangers before purchasing.     It is a visual inspection of accessible areas and structures of the property that provides you with an assessment of the dwelling and its immediate surrounds at the time of the inspection. We thoroughly inspect all accessible areas and provide a comprehensive report within 24 hours, complete with colour photographs of every significant finding.

    The Inspection Process

    Our inspection covers all accessible areas of the building, including: external and internal walls, roofing, roof frame, roof void, sub-floor, doors and frames, windows and frames, guttering and downpipes, retaining walls, balconies, patios, stairs, verandahs, pergolas, paving, fences and outbuildings, driveways, plumbing overview, electrical overview, and cabinetry. The report includes colour photographs and is compliant with Australian Standard AS 4349.1.

    You don't need to be present — we coordinate everything with the estate agent on your behalf. However, you are welcome to attend the inspection if you wish. After the inspection, results are discussed with you by phone immediately, so you're fully informed without delay.

    You will receive a detailed, easy-to-understand report with colour photographs on the same day as the inspection. Results are also discussed with you by phone immediately after the inspection is completed, so you have verbal clarity before the written report arrives.

    All our building inspections are conducted in full compliance with Australian Standard AS 4349.1:2007 (Pre-Purchase Inspections — Residential Buildings). Our timber pest inspections comply with AS 4349.3:2007. We are also a long-standing member of the Housing Industry Association (HIA) — for over 15 years.
